Your files
Bifocal reads the files, folders and text you give it, on your device, and nowhere else. It sends nothing about you or your files anywhere.
- Recent comparisons and your settings are kept on your device, in the app's own storage. Clear Recents in Settings removes the list.
- Items you share to Bifocal from another app wait in the app's own storage until Bifocal opens them.
- A session you save is a file where you choose to save it.
- Pictures and styles that an HTML or Markdown file asks for from the web are not loaded.
Purchases
The free trial and Bifocal Pro are bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; Bifocal learns only whether the trial or the unlock is yours, from your device. See Apple's privacy policy.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your device's settings, Apple may pass crash reports to the developer without anything that identifies you. Bifocal adds nothing to them.
